Regan Tausch bio

Regan paints folk art
and designs custom paintings of homes and landmarks

In 1995, Regan pulled out some old art supplies and created her first paintings.
Excited with the results, she showed them to art galleries.
Her first exhibit was at the Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing, NY.
The artist was commissioned to produce a 16 x20 in. painting of the well known
hotel on the lake. It sold immediately and is now in private collection.

In 1999, Regan began to exhibit her artwork throughout Oyster Bay and Long Island.
At Galleries, Art shows, and juried exhibits her work was well received.
In 2003 the Artist was asked to participate in a project run by the
Oyster Bay Historical Society.
Her artwork was chosen for the cover of their publication.
Shortly after the artist released Limited edtion lithographs to commemorate the project.

Regan creates whimsical paintings by drawing inspiration
from the beautiful places she's seen. Regan's work is admired for the
fantastic detail painted into every scene created. Also an equestrian for years,
Regan puts her knowledge of  horses to work in her horse paintings.

Regan paints with acrylic on stretched canvas.
The artist work is currently available
at Nassau County Museum of Art and minis on ebay.
Brochures are available for custom inquiries.
